Data processed and purposes

Contact form: full name, email, phone (optional), profession (optional) and message content. Purpose: replying to your request. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at the data subject’s request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).

Newsletter: email address, profession (optional) and language. Purpose: sending updates on products, projects and Mital initiatives. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), which may be withdrawn at any time via the link in each email or by writing to the Controller.

Technical logs: the systems hosting this website record browsing data (IP address, time, requested page) needed for operation and security. Legal basis: the Controller’s legitimate interest in service security (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

Provision of data

Data marked as required in the forms are necessary to handle the request; failure to provide them makes it impossible to reply. All other data are optional.

Retention

Contact requests: up to 24 months after the last reply. Newsletter: until consent is withdrawn. Technical logs: normally up to 12 months.

Recipients

Data are processed by authorised staff of the Controller and by the hosting provider, appointed as data processor under Art. 28 GDPR. Data are not disclosed nor transferred outside the European Union.

Your rights

Under Articles 15-22 GDPR you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability by writing to mital@mital.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

Minors

This website is not intended for children under 14 and the Controller does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

This notice may be updated; the version published on this page is the one in force.
